Goldie E. Strang, 59 of Lone Oak, passed away on January 5, 2012 in Farmersville.  A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Calk officiating.

 

Mrs. Strang was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on May 29, 1952 to John and Viola Lee Blaylock Cruse.  She married Frank April 17, 1987 in Greenville.  She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother.

 

She is survived by her husband; children, Tabatha Wilson, Thomas Strang, and Starla Strang; sisters, Linda Bowen, Ada Allison, and Jessie Neal; brother, James Cruse; 10 granddaughters, 3 grandsons; 2 great-grandsons; 3 great-granddaughters; 9 nieces and 3 nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Billy Gown.
