Mary Ruth Webb went to be with the Lord Friday, July 29, 2011.  Visitation will be at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Caddo Mills I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Caddo Mills with Rev. Marvin McDaniel officiating.  Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Webb was born December 14, 1917 to Will and Minnie Betts Drake in Caddo Mills.

She and Maurice Weldon Webb were married nearly 60 years.  He preceded her in death January 2, 2000.  Mrs. Webb was a homemaker and member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.

Mrs. Webb is survived by a son Alan Webb of Greenville; daughters Linda Oliver and husband Norman of Georgetown and Beverly Acker and husband Avon of Greenville; grandchildren Mindy Edwards and husband Johnny, Troy Acker and wife Tammy, Dr. Larry Acker and wife Lori, John Acker and wife Cindee, Gary Oliver and wife Lisa, and Derek Webb; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and sister Willie Harrison of Virginia.

Mrs. Webb was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks for the loving care she received from Dr. Rick Selvaggi and staff, and also the entire staff of Briarcliff Health Center.  All of our loved one’s needs, and those of the family, were met.
