Graham matriarch, Margaret Coker Loving, joined her heavenly father and family on June 17, 2011. Her beauty and grace have blessed all who had the wonderful pleasure of knowing her. Margaret was born to Raney Alton Graham Sr. and Victoria Hackney Graham on
Markie lived her life according to God’s word and love. She was known to so many as Mrs. Coker the many years she worked as Dr. Fred Turbeville’s nurse. She was also a dental assistant to Dr. Wendell Poole after working at her sister’s Gin Stand Grocery and Big State Drug Store.
Margaret married George Loving on October 13, 1968 and welcomed his children Nancy, Debbie, Jeff, and Andy into her life. Margaret also opened her home to her very special daughter of her heart Jarma Hanner.
Her final employment was working at Showtime at the Texan—owned by David & Sandy Coker. Her friendship with Yvonne Sutton and Carolyn Vick shared treasured years of shopping, coffee, and Neil Diamond Concerts.
Markie was greeted in heaven by Jesus, her parents, her six siblings, both husbands, son, nieces, nephews, and an abundance of friends. What a glorious homecoming!! Markie will always be missed by those she left behind…daughter Pamela Coker Hudgeons and husband Gary, Sandy Coker Overton and husband John, Nancy Loving Edwards, Debbie Loving Layton and husband Buck, Phillip Anderson Loving and wife Penny.
