Melba Jean Dunne passed away peacefully on June 14, 2011 surounded by loved ones in Louisville, Ky. Born in Celeste, Tx on December 29, 1930, Melba lived in Dallas most of her life.

Survivors include her 8 children, 20 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, her sister, nieces and nephews and so many friends. Her heart, her door was open to everyone. Family was everything, having time and patience for all, always caring, loving and never judgemental. She was fun and funny with so much “spunk”. A special angel is now watching over us from above. Our memories are forever cherished.

Funeral services are at Noon Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home, 5100 I30E in Greenville, Tx with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Celeste Cemetery, Celeste, Tx.
