Marie Pennington
Nell Marie "MiMi" Pennington, 80, of Greenville died, Saturday, November 27, 2010, at Hunt Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 30, 2010, in Coker-Mathews Chapel with Pastor Randall Bost officiating. Burial will be in Van Sickle Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pennington was born in the Van Sickle community, Hunt County, Texas, on August 19, 1930. She was the daughter of Henry Barron and Ruth Tredway Barron. She married Owen Ludwig in April, 1949, in Clifton, Texas. He preceded her in death. She married George "Gaukie" Pennington in 1980 in Greenville. He preceded her in death. She worked for the Glen Justice Insurance Company. Mrs. Pennington was a member of Faith Bible Church and was a former member of Central Christian Church.
She enjoyed life and was always young at heart. What she cherished most, was time with her family. We will miss you MiMi.
She is survived by her son, Rodney Ludwig and his wife, Debbie of Caddo Mills; granddaughters, Christi Evans and husband, Joe of Caddo Mills and Kelli Yotter and husband Josh of Caddo Mills; great-granddaughters, Breanna and Whitney Jo Evans of Caddo Mills and Ava Yotter of Caddo Mills; and cousins, Pat Abell, Emmitt Tredway and Jim Barron. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Barron, Keith Barron, Philip Farmer, Jeff Holt, Derrek Ruff, and Gred Tredway. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Barron, Leo Farmer, Theo Farmer and Emmitt Tredway.
