Dorthy Jean Ray, 77, of
Mrs. Ray was born October 7, 1932 in Terrell to Herbert and Mary Virgil Nelson Stark.
On December 31, 1954, she married J. K. Ray. She was a homemaker.
Her survivors include her son, Danny Ray of Greenville; brother George Thurman Stark and wife, Eula of Caddo Mills; sisters Serena Helton and Owana DeGarso of Greenville and Judy Stone and husband Mickey of Caddo Mills; grandsons Danny Lee Ray II and Hunter Ray; great-grandchild Destiny Ray; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 2007; son Michael Keith Ray in 1990; daughter-in-law Cathy Ray in 2008; and brother Billy Ray Stark.
Pallbearers will be her nephews Tony McLarry, Phillip Stark, George Helton, Ronnie DeGarso, Gary DeGarso, and Travis McLarry.
