Nannie GreenRobinson

Nannie Green Robinson, 97, of Arlington, Texas, formerly of Greenville, died Friday, August 6, 2010, in Arlington Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 10, 2010, in Coker-Mathews Chapel.  Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.  Visitation will be Monday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Robinson was born in Webb Hill, Texas on Saturday, August 31, 1912.  She was the daughter of Jehue Green and Genia Shanks Green.  On June 13, 1934  she married Luther Robinson in Cooper, Texas.  She was a retired seamstress for Henson-Kickernick and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.

She is survived by grandchildren, Lisa Owens and husband Mike, Denise Horton and Thomas Horton, III; great-granddaughter, Victoria Manor and husband Ryan; great-great-grandchild, Tanis Manor; numerous nieces, nephews and a large extended family.  She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Clark Robinson; great-granddaughter, Heather Neyland; grandson-in-law, Thomas Horton, Jr. and ten siblings.

Pallbearers will be Ted Green, Tim Morrison, Thomas Horton, III, Butch Shannon, Larry Warren, Dan Perkins, Mike Owens and Randy Morrison.
