Sadie RosieAdams

Rosie Adams, 97, died Sunday, July 11, 2010, in Smith Nursing Home in Wolfe City.  Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 14, 2010, in Coker-Mathews Chapel with Rev. Larry Jordan officiating.  Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.  Visitation will be 9:00 AM, Wednesday until the service time.

Mrs. Adams was born in Campbell, Texas on December 28 2010, the daughter of Elzie Lee Isham and Nannie Ella Hatchett Isham.  On July 28, 1931, she married Luther C. Adams in Greenville.  She was a homemaker and member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church. 

Mrs. Adams is survived by her son, Glenn Ray Adams and his wife, Mary Ann of Wolfe City; daughters-in-law, Priscilla Adams and Ada Adams, both of Greenville; grandchildren, Billy Glenn Adams, Steve Adams and his wife, Jocelyn, and Edie Milton and her husband, John Michael, Jeanette Alamo and Terry Spoon; great-grandchildren, Elden Kyle Milton and Koti Zarnetski; great-great-grandchild, Rylan Glenn Zarnetski; and nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther C. Adams in 1989, and sons, Luther L. Adams in 2003 and Thurman Roy Adams in 2004.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Jones, Don Atherton, John Michael Milton, Gary Griffin, Jerry Bench and Marc Milton.  Bill Baldwin will serve as honorary pallbearer.
