Victoria C. Sanders, 70, of Greenville passed away July 7, 2010 at her residence.  Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Lee Davis officiating.  Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.

 

Vicki was born August 24, 1939 in Omaha, Texas to Evert and Mary Carson Giroir.  On July 14, 1959, she married Richard E. Sanders, Sr. in Greenville.  She retired from the U. S. Government as a cartographer.  She was of the Catholic faith. 

 

Her survivors include her husband of Greenville; sons Richard Sanders, Jr. of Houston and Rodney Eric Sanders of Syria; daughters Sondra Sue Smith-Johnson of Greenville and Cynthia Lynn Walker of Mount Sterling, Ohio; brother Everet Giroir of Hughes Springs; sister Jo R. Whitten of Surprise, Arizona; ten grandchildren; and l great-grandchild.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents.
