Carolyn Sue Patterson, 60, 0f Leonard, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman. Funeral Services are at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 28, 2010 in the Coker Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Ralson presiding. Interment will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday, June 27 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
Carolyn was born on October 1, 1949 to Ruby Elizabeth Glasscock and Robert Elmer Harrison, Jr in Greenville. She married James ( Jimmy ) Patterson on May 5, 1970 in Celeste. She was an Executive Assistant for the First Bank of Celeste and a member of the First Baptist Church of Celeste.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of Leonard; son, Cody Patterson and wife Joy of Rowlett; two brothers, Kenneth Harrison of Celeste and Mark Harrison of Rowlett; two sisters, Peggy Milner of Greenville and Sandra Hughes of Lavon; eight nieces and five nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Bob Barnard, Chris Barnard, Duane Compton, Russell Compton, Ryon Gilliam and Martin Kent.
