Faye DellRozell

Faye Dell Smith Rozell, 84, of Greenville died Saturday, March 27, 2010, at Hunt Regional Medical Center. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Royce Litchfield officiating. Burial is in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rozell was born Feb. 13, 1926, in the Mexico community of Hunt County; the daughter of L.W. Smith and Ollie Mae Dell Decker. She was married to Garland Leon Rozell on Jan. 11, 1946, in Greenville.
Mrs. Rozell was a homemaker and business partner with her husband. She was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Marletta Page and husband Peter of Greenville; son, Garland W. Rozell and wife Martha of Dallas; granddaughter Della Page; great-grandchildren, Adaline and Austin; brother, Robert W. Smith; sisters Ann Bradshaw, Chris Bishop and Jo Davis; cherished in-laws of her and her husband's family and precious nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and one sister.
Pallbearers are nephews, John Bishop, Scott Smith, Charles Wade Smith, Keith Smith, Jerry Thomas, Kevin Thomas, Ron Vice and Don Vice.
Mrs. Rozell's children are forever grateful to caregivers Lori Pool and Donna Daniel of Visiting Angels of Paris for the constant tenderness shown for their mother.
