Retha GayleWright

Retha Gayle Wright was born March 3, 1966 to Scott O. and Doris Wright.  She was the youngest of four children.  She graduated from Wolfe City High School.  Gayle worked in the healthcare industry for many years.  Her most recent job was billing supervisor for Hunt Regional Medical Center.

On February 13^th, she was diagnosed with leukemia.  She fought a courageous battle and received a stem cell transplant in June.  She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and a niece.

Those left to cherish so many memories are brothers and sisters-in-law: Neil and Paula Wright, Doyle Wright and Brian and Angie Wright; nephew and nieces:  Bradley Wright, Gracie Wright, Stephanie Samples and Stacey and Jeff Brown; great-nephews:  Taylor Brown, Ryan Brown, Seth Samples and Scott Samples; “second parents”, Sue and Sonny Glaspy and special life time friend, Sandra Cunningham.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, December 14, 2009, in Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Farmer and Rev. Kirk Watson officiating.  Burial will be in Tidwell Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Tillman Bostick, Jeff Brown, Clay Cunningham, Bill Rose, John Smith, Kerry Wright and Larry Wright.
