Eunice Horton Kennedy, 92, of Duncanville passed away on Augus 18, 2009 at Williamsburg Village Nursing Home in De Soto. A graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Friday at Mt.Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City with Rev. Kenneth Ballard officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kennedy was born on Augus 13, 1917 in Hunt County to John Wilson Horton and Lelia Rebecca Smith Horton. on August 5, 1940 she married Harmon Lewis Kennedy who preceded her in death in 1995. She was a homemaker and seamstress and a member of the Gospel Lighthouse in Dallas.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ervin, Wilson, Vernie, and Burl Horton and one sister Edna Fish.
