"Thank Heaven! the crisis --The danger, is past, and the lingering illness, is over at last --, and the fever called "Living" is conquered at last. - Edgar Allan Poe As a well-spent day brings happy sleep, so a life well spent brings happy death. - Leonardo da Vinci "I want to go when I want. It is tasteless to prolong life artificially. I have done my share; it is time to go. I will do it elegantly." Albert Einstein Death and birth do not define us, it is the life inbetween that leaves a legacy of people loved, memories shared, time spent helping others, lessons passed on, the laughter and smiles bestoyed on others that bring meaning to life. Death is just a passage through another door into another dimension where there will be no end to our souls or spirits, and on the other side of that proverbial door, we shall all meet again soon. Author unknown My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. May God's unlimited supply of comfort and healing surround you and keep you. Love, Melody K. Hankins-Rhyne (Cheryl's little sister)"

"When I was little you told me I was the best Birthday present you ever received. And when I was a young child, sometimes I was even jealous that I had to share my birthday with anyone. But, since I have been an adult, I treasured every birthday we shared together, even calling you to sing "Happy Birthday" to you, every year. From now on, it will break my heart you won't be here in person to share our birthday together. But, I will still sing to you every year, because I know you will be listening! Grandma, I will truly miss you... MORE than anyone could ever imagine."
