Born July 28, 1941 in Point, TX to George and Inez Reeves Kerr, he worked for Raytheon for 47 years, retiring as a shipping manager and was a member of
He married Karen Skidmore, June 10, 1960 and had two daughters, Annette and Theresa.
He married the love of his life, Tommie Lynn Smiley, December 5, 2004. Though their time together was too short, his love for Tommie was great.

Kerr of Garland, step-son Brandon King, nieces Judy Julian, Jan Robertson, Terri Harrison, sister Esther Meyer of Gainesville, mother-in-law Evelyn Smiley of Greenville, father-in-law Norman Smiley, and great friend and golf partner Zach Hyde. Along with numerous nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, daughter Annette and sister Betty.
Pallbearers will be Bill Dennis, Clyde Dennis, Zach Hyde, Tommy Hyde, Ray Wallen and Paul Wright.
Ray Wallen Sunday School Class will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
