Bobby Reed Hansford, 78, of Greenville died the morning of March 31, 2009. A graveside service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Thursday at Shady Grove Cemetery .Rev. Marvin McDaniel will officiate.
Son of Samuel and Vera Marie Thompson Hansford, he was born August l0, l932 in Hunt County. On October l7, l955, he married Wanda Hudson in Hunt County. He was a veteran. Mr. Hansford was a mechanic and was a member of Disabled American Veterans. He was a baptist.
Surviving are his wife of Greenville, two sons, Bobby Ray Hansford and wife Pam Short and Billy Ray Hansford and wife Jennifer Fry, all of Greenville, daughters, Norma Hernandes of Greenville, Lisa Reyes of Campbell and Tammie Arroyo and husband Salomon of Greenville, a brother Howard Ray Hansford and wife Betty of Kingston, two sisters, Vonda L. McClure and husband LeRoy of Greenville and Patsy Ruth Arrington and husband Delbert of Campbell, eigth grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Wednesday, April 1st from, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
His parents, two sisters and three grandchildren preceded him in death.
Pallbearers are Jesse Hernandez, Salomon Arroyo, Dondi Arrington and Steve Montgomery.
