Funeral services for Zack Allen Moore of Cash are scheduled at l p.m. Friday at Highland Terrace Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Russell and Rev. Robert Webb officiating. Internment will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Restland Abbey Gardens at Restland Road and Greenville Avenue in Dallas.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 4th at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Mr. Moore died October 2, 2007, following a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Son of Carrie and Richard Moore, he was born July 2, l936, in Franklin County. He graduated from Saltillo High School in l954 and in l956 married Shirley Avaritt in Saltillo. Mr. Moore was a retired truck driver, he drove for Prime Time in Greenville for some 30 years. He was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Shirely, his daughter Sharon Smirl of Waco, two sons, Ronnie Moore of Cash and David Moore and wife Kristie of Greenville, five grandchildren, Misty Adair and husband Wyatt of Chandler, Charlie Smirl and wife Amanda of Valley Mills, and Cregg, Kyle and Karrie Moore of Greenville, three great-granchildren, Nataly and Gabriel Smirl of Valley Mills and Cole Adair of Chandler, and a sister, Nell Wilcox of Greenville.
He was preceded in death by a 14 year old son, ALan Ray Moore in l976, two brothers, Don Moore and Henry Moore, and his parents.
Pallbearers are Harold Williams, Bob King, J.L. Sustaire, Joe Winniford, Lane Lannon nd Bryan Gibson. Honorary pallbearers are the members of Highland Terrace Baptist Church-Ray Wallen's Sunday school class.
