Bettie Gainer, 81, of Greenville died the night of March 23, 2009, at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. A graveside service is scheduled at 10:30 am Thursday, March 26, 2009 in Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma, under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville. Bud Toles will officiate.
Daughter of Bennie Oran and Ruby Sunshine Rino Morgan, she was born November 9, 1927, in Durant, Oklahoma. On November 10, 1947, she married John Wiley Gainer in Honey Grove, Texas. She worked for LTV and as a secretary for Union Sercurity for 17 years.
Surviving are a son , John Gainer and wife Diana of Greenville; daughter Judy Toles and husband Bud of Greenville; two brothers, Billy Boyd Morgan and Jack David Morgan; sisters Margaret Blanche Roberts and Mary Lou Swink and grandchildren Eileen Gainer of Seattle, Washinton, Ethan Gainer of Plano and Jess Toles and Jake Toles of Greenville.
