"My condolences to Elaine and family. Elaine and I were friends in high school even though she lived in our RIVAL high school Karnes City High School. Chuck and I were classmates till (Class of 67) in Kenedy,Tx. He was one of the most polite, friendly, smart and handsome boys in school!
Elaine I am broken hearted knowing how much you loved Chuck for all these years and know you and the family will miss him and those cute dimples!
May he rest in peace and know he will see you all from the gates of heaven~"

"Dear Elaine and family,
We lost truly great man when God called him to heaven! With his infectious laugh and gentle smile, h e made the world a greater place. He was always ready to help either my Chuck or my grandchildren. I can remember him helping Karston fill his bicycle tires with air, helping him learn to throw a baseball, fly his airplane and so many other things. I can still see him walking down the street going to get the mail and I miss both of y’all so much! I know you are happy in Greenville with your family, but you are missed here! Love you both!"

"Elaine and family. I am so sorry for your lose. Chuck will be dearly missed by all that knew him. I have not known many men that were as kind and giving as Chuck. Always a best friend to anyone that knew him well. Chuck is in good hands now with our Lord and Jesus Christ until He calls us to go be with him. I miss our phone conversations and seeing him at the class reunions this past couple of years. I so regret that I can not make the service this coming Thursday. But please know my heart and spirt will be there with you all. Love always, Rodger Holmes - Class of 67'"
