Jakie RaeMosley

 Jakie Rae Mosley, 76, of Greenville, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett.  Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, at Highland Terrace Baptist Church under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Norman Crisp, Rev. Royce Litchfield and Rev. Larry Jordan officiating.  Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.

Mrs. Mosley was born in Brownwood, Texas, April 12, 1932, the daughter of Jake B. Simpson and Zora Ratto Simpson.  She married Marvin Mosley on August 27, 1956, in Blanket, Texas.  She was a retired registered nurse and a member of the Highland Terrace Baptist Church.  She graduated from Hendrix Nursing School with a Bachelor Degree in Nursing and Hardin-Simmons University with a Masters Degree in Nursing.

Mrs. Mosley is survived by her husband, Marvin Mosley of Greenville; son, Kim Mosley of Greenville; daughter Rae Deen Gladden and husband, Danny, of Greenville; brothers, Don Simpson of Blanket, Ted Simpson of Brownwood and Buster Simpson of Blanket; sister, Martha Ann Simpson of Kerrville; grandchildren, Chase Gladden, Shade Gladden and Makenzie Gladden, all of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bill Simpson.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Phillips, Danny Gladden, Bob Parsons, Fred Gaulden, Jerrel Tredway and David Watson.   Honorary pallbearers will be members of The Shepherd’s Flock Sunday School Class at Highland Terrace Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Wednesday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

The family requests memorials be send to the Building Fund at Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
