William Holmes McMillan, 86, of Greenville, Texas, passed away December 11, 2024, at the Hunt Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Pastor Jordan Velazco officiating. Burial will follow at Weiland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
William was born August 17, 1938, in Lone Oak, Texas to Robert and Thelma Northcutt McMillan. He married Shirley Hart on June 7, 1958. William worked for 30 years for American Can Company and was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church.
William is survived by his son, Jeffrey McMillan; daughter, Tammy Ford; sisters, Betty Jones, Robbie Hunt; grandchild, Chase Ford and his wife, Kaylee and great-grandchildren, Karla Ford and Hayes Raney.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Steven McMillan and granddaughter, Karla Ford.
