"Jeanne and family, I was saddened to learn of Jerry’s death. He was my buddy and we stayed in contact after I retired from GEUS. I actually hired Jerry to work at GEUS and our friendship began. . I thought the world of Jerry. I can’t be there to pay tribute too since my husband and I now live in FL but I will be there in spirit love and prayers to all of you, Brenda Bolt Thorn"

"Jeanne, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I thought the world of Jerry. I so enjoyed visiting with him at the credit union and other places where I would see him. He was a wonderful man. He always was smiling and seemed to genuinely care about others. I will always remember the time that he cleaned out my chimney because he was worried about fire danger.
I won't be able to attend his memorial service because we will be out of town but if there is anything at all that I can do for you, please let me know. You mean so much to me and I would love to help you if possible. Dianna & Kent"
