Burford Price
Buford Raymond Price, 92, of Greenville died the morning of Febrary 4, 2009, at his residence. A service will be held at a later date.
Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Son of Jessee and Mary Ellen Westbrook Price, he was born December 26, 1916, in Ben Arnold, Texas. On September 17, 1940, he married Jimmie Lucille Andrews in Cameron. He served in the Army Corps. Mr. Price retired as a custodian for the Waco Independent School District. He was a Baptist.
Survivors are his wife of Greenville; two daughters, Patricia Price Rhoden of Greenville and Barbara Price Mayfield of Huntsville; a brother, Jack Price of Waco; sister Nancy Devers of Waco; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
His parents preceded him in death.
