Walter Junior Greer, 68, of Lone Oak, Texas, died at his home on Saturday, January 17, 2009.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, at 11:00 AM in Coker-Mathews Chapel with Rev. Larry Jordan and Rev. Royce Litchfield officiating.  Graveside services will be at 3:30 PM, Tuesday in Finley Cemetery, Finley, Oklahoma.  Visitation will be Monday, January 19, 2009, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Greer was born in Snow, Oklahoma on September 24, 1940, the son of William Walter Greer and Edna Viola Johnson Greer.  On June 19, 2006, he married Sandy Shields Willaby.  He was retired from the Garland Fire Department and attended Highland Terrace Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sandy Greer of Lone Oak; daughters, Robbi Dawn Najarro of Dallas and Cathie Dale Mitchell and her husband Travis of Cumby; sister, Mary St. Julien of Lake Forest, California; grandchildren, Matt Turner, Daniel Galvan, Sarah Thompson & husband Zack, Anthony Galvan & wife Lisa and Isabelle Najarro; step-children, Darla Batson and husband Steve, Johnny Willaby, Tracy Willaby and Joey Dawn Morris; several step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his late wife, Jerry Greer; parents; daughter, Charlotte Diane Greer, great-granddaughter, Avery Jade Thompson; four brother and two sisters.

Pallbearers will be Dude Turner, Bubba Isenburg, Joe Isenburg, Don Isenburg, Guy Wayne Payne and Jerry Seiber.  Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Bickle and Gary Harwell.
