Betty Jo Gandy, 88, of Greenville, passed away on May 3, 2023, in Greenville, Texas. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M, Friday, May 5, 2023, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Flanagan officiating. Interment will be in Simmons Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gandy was born April 19, 1935, in Owens Crossroads, Alabama, to Alton Burton Wallace and Betty Rae Maples. She married Willard Allen Gandy on June 26, 1954, in Robertson County, was a housewife and a member of Park Street Baptist Church. She loved her family, church family and God.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Allen Gandy; daughters, Cathy Ann Bobbitt, Betty Jean Cooper, and Mary Jo Wein; sister, Sue Nell Gandy; thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother, and one sister.
Pallbearers will be Deke Hoffman, Colton Cooper, George Wein, Vien Bobbitt, Parker Gandy, and McKlane Bobbitt.
