HollisTapp

Hollis Tapp, 96 of Greenville, died Sunday afternoon at Hunt Memorial Medical Center.  Graveside services will be Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at 11:30 AM, at Memoryland Memorial Park, under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home, with Dr. James Ralson officiating.  Visitation will be at the funeral home, Wednesday, 10:00 AM until service time.

Mr. Tapp was born in the Van Sickle community on September 4, 1912, the son of Matthew Tapp and Mary Hogan Tapp.  On January 1, 1947, the married Mozelle Adkisson in Dallas.  He was a retired Millwright for Brown and Root Construction Company. 

He is survived by his wife, Mozelle Tapp of Greenville; daughter, Kathleen Smith of Greenville; sons, Mark Tapp of Paris and Matt Tapp of Mesquite; grandchildren, Dalton Tapp, Breanna Smith, Justin Tapp, Brandon Tapp and Shelby Tapp.  His parents preceded him in death.
