Sherlie Ann Harvey, 82, of Greenville passed away February 1, 2023, at Medical City Plano.
Funeral Services will be at 1pm Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be at 11:30am until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Sherlie was born in Jackson County, Texas to Davis and Esther Hull Hoffman. She was a member of Central Christian Church. Sherlie married Arthur Benzi in Jackson County on February 21st, 1958, and later, John Harvey in Greenville, Texas on July 6th, 2003.
In her younger years, Sherlie volunteered at her children’s elementary school helping with parties, Halloween Carnivals, and making costumes for school plays. She enjoyed bowling and playing softball.
Sherlie is survived by her children, Angela Benzi Hunter and her husband Lee of McKinney, Jay Benzi and his wife Pam of Atoka Oklahoma, John Garner Harvey of Waco, and Catherine Harvey Johnson and husband Jerry of Tyler, and sister, Linda Jo Dial of Missouri, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was a loving grandmother to 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sibling.
