Melody Lee Eichelman, 63, of Mount Pleasant, Texas, passed away on September 3, 2022, in Mount Pleasant, Texas. A private family memorial service will take place. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Melody was born May 25, 1959, in Portsmouth, Virginia, to Melvin Curry, Jr., and Shirley Buettner. She married Don Eichelman on January 28, 1977, in Baltimore, Maryland. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Donald Eichelman and wife, Julie of Quinlan; daughter, Beth Pickle and husband, Clay of Kearney, MO; father, Melvin Curry of Virginia Beach, VA; brother, Mike Curry and wife, Brandi of Celeste; sister, Donna Forquer of Little Orleans, MD; grandchildren, David Lafond, Ben Lafond, Zachary Pickle, Zaiden Pickle, Cecilia Eichelman, Gabriel Eichelman, and Baby Eichelman due in November.
She was preceded by her husband, her daughter, Toni Phelps Lafond, her mother, and brother, Daniel Curry.
