Lawrence “Buddy” Singleton, 82, of Terrell, passed away on August 26, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Dr. James Ralson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 PM until service time.
Buddy was born on August 27, 1939, in Terrell, Texas to William Floyd Singleton and Alla Fae St. Ama Singleton. Buddy was retired from Kraft Foods after 30 years of service as a maintenance technician. Buddy was a member of Forney Baptist Church and was baptized at Rolling Hills Church.
Buddy is survived by sons, Mike Singleton & wife Deanna and Larry Singleton & wife Julie, daughter, Diana Butters & husband Michael, ex wife and special friend, Linda Burton Jenkins, brother, William Floyd Singleton & wife Maxine, sister, Florence “Faye” Singleton-Hooper, grandchildren, Ashley Butters Mullins, Brandon Butters, Trenton Shayne Singleton, Hayden Miller Singleton and great grandchildren, Hudson Mullins, Zoe Butters, Harlow Mullins, Rowan Butters, Liam Singleton and Stella Singleton.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ruby Watson.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Butters, Mike Butters, Larry Singleton, Mike Singleton, Shayne Singleton, and Ryan Mullins.
