William Alford Jenkins, III, 80, of Cumby, passed away on April 14, 2022, in Greenville, Texas. A Celebration of Life will be 6:00 P.M., Monday, April 18, 2022, at Cumby High School Gymnasium. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Jenkins was born February 23, 1942, in Tuttle, Oklahoma, to William Alford Jenkins, Jr. and Helen Cleo Brown. He married Carolyn Lee Tobin in Dallas, Texas on December 18, 1981. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired as an AG Teacher at Cumby ISD. He was a member of the Cumby Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Jenkins of Cumby; sons, William (Bill) Jenkins, IV, Charles Jenkins, Brent Jones, and Brad Jones; daughters, Angie Allen, and Dana Jenkins; brothers, James Jenkins, Eddie Jenkins, and Joel (Joe) Jenkins; sisters, Helen Dibble, and Sally Ingram; grandchildren, Jason Adams, Kris Stanford, Kailee Sartin, Luke Sartin, Jaycee Allen, Jax Allen, Savanah Neal, Tyler Jones, Jack Jones, Brandon Jones, Kaiden Jones, Kaci Jenkins, Kimberly Kendrick, and Melissa Brian; nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Mickey (Brandon) Jones, Bryan Jones, sister, Lina Bolin, brothers, Bill Jenkins, Floyd Jenkins, Jon Jenkins, and Tony Jenkins.
