Michael Ray Ragsdale, 67, of Celeste, passed away on March 23, 2022, in Celeste, Texas. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Highland Terrace Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Payne, Mr. Jerry Bench and Rev. John Foster officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, March 25, 2022, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Interment will be in Webb Hill Cemetery.
Mike was born May 22, 1954, in Greenville, Texas to Eugene Ragsdale and Jane Ray. He married Cheryl Lynn Lauderdale on March 28, 1974, at White Rock Baptist Church. He retired from Lance and L-3 Communications. He was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church, Hunt County Wood Turners, and Kings Kruizers CMA Motorcycle Club.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Lynn Ragsdale; daughters, Kami Williams and husband, John, and Marla Hudgens and husband, Joseph, Lauren Ragsdale; mother, Jane Ragsdale; brothers, Keith Ragsdale and Stacy, and Kevin Ragsdale and Danielle; grandchildren, Jed Williams, Jase Williams, Colby Hudgens, and Blakely Hudgens; and eight nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Ragsdale and son-in-law, Matt Virgel.
Pallbearers will be Mark Davies, Mason Lauderdale, Steven Frazier, Mike Gibson, and Michael White.
Honorary pallbearer will be Ronnie Huffines.
Memorials may be made to the Highland Terrace Baptist Church Building Fund.
