Carl Emerson, 68, of Greenville, passed away on August 24, 2021, in Farmersville at the Lexington Medical Lodge. A memorial service is planned for Sunday, September 5, 2021, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Tommy Morgan officiating.
Carl was born on February 27, 1953, in Winchester, Virginia to Roy Emerson and Erma Middleton Emerson. Carl married the love of his life Jerri Johnson. Carl was a United States Navy veteran and was retired from L-3.
Carl is survived by his wife Jerri, his sisters Mary Lichliter of Winchester, Virginia and Tenna Kerns and husband, Ricky of Winchester, Virginia, two daughters, Carol Rinker and Carla Marchi, both of Stephen City, Virginia; his grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Carl is preceded in death by his parents.
The family wishes to thank his Hospice Plus Nurse, Jenny; and all of the others that gave him special care.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Harrison and Mike Emerson; and sister, Margie Riley.
