Jimmie Lloyd Swafford, 81, of Greenville, passed away on August 18, 2021, in Greenville. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dewey Davidson officiating. Interment will be in Celeste Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 27, 2021, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mr. Swafford was born March 12, 1940, in Celeste, Texas to Claudie Marshall Swafford and Mary Magdalene. He married Linda Bloyed on November 5, 1960, in Greenville, Texas. He worked for E-Systems as an Aircraft Electrician, owned a paint and body shop and Frontline Used Cars. He was a member of Prairie Valley Baptist Church in Campbell, Texas. He loved God, Family, Friends and all of his cars.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Swafford; sons, Marshell Swafford and wife, Tammie and Paul Cain and wife, Shahna; grandchildren, Kyle Swafford, Toni Shentell Hart London and Amanda Hart Rozell; and many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Corey Swafford.
Pallbearers will be Terry Jones, Randy Meeks, Marco Robles, Jeff Robertson, Phillip May and Ralph Cowgill.
