Marilyn DeBerry Thompson, 83, our mom, grandma, aunt and friend; peacefully passed away on July 16, 2021. A memorial graveside service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday August 7, 2021 at Forest Park Cemetery, 5605 S. Business Hwy 69, Greenville, TX 75042
Marilyn was born in Farmersville, Texas on September 11, 1937 to Mart Mounger DeBerry and Trella Martena Hooten DeBerry. She graduated from Greenville High School and worked in accounting for multiple Dallas Texas firms. Marilyn, like her mother and sisters was a great cook and loved to spend time with family and friends. She had a special ability for sewing and making clothes for all of the different family members, always signed "With Love."
She is survived by her stepdaughter Martha Thompson of Murphy, Texas, daughter-in-law Gail Cutter and nephews Keith Moser, Kyle Moser, Scott Petty, step daughter-in-law Sonja Thompson, step-granddaughters Jennifer Thompson, Amanda Turner and step-great-granddaughters Shaila Thompson, Mira Turner and Dani Turner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Don R. Hutchison, son Damon Craig Hutchison, second husband Billy Gene Thompson, stepson Danny Thompson, sisters Shirley Hill and Carol Chapman. Flowers can be sent to Coker-Mathews Funeral Home 5100 I-30 Frontage RD East, Greenville, TX 75042.
