Danny Charles Sanders, 73, of Greenville, passed away on July 29, 2021, in Greenville. A graveside service will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Memoryland Memorial Park with Mr. Joe Bishop officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until service time at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Mr. Sanders was born September 4, 1947 in Greenville, Texas to David Franklin Sanders and Mary Ellen Bloyed. He married Debbie Pierce on December 6, 1974, in Greenville, Texas. He retired from Kansas City Southern as a railroad engineer after 37 years. He was a member of Park Street Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Sanders; son, Scott Sanders; daughter, Stacy Diamond and husband, Dax; sister, Jean Lightford; grandchildren, Kaden Kendall, Savannah Diamond and Steele Diamond.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sanders, Jimmy Sanders and Wayne Sanders.
Pallbearers are Kaden Kendall, Steele Diamond, Dax Diamond, Joe Bishop, Mike Pierce and Barry Stapleton.
