"Perry touched me in such a positive way. Although I never met him, I considered him a very close friend. We had corresponded for close to eight years. I am writing this now with a lump in my throat knowing I am going to dearly miss hearing from him. I am quite sure that there are many across this nation and even the world who feel the same way. May we all strive to influence others the way Perry has influenced me.
