Gladys Rumbo, 79, of Caddo Mills passed away on May 23, 2021 at Royse City Medical Lodge. Funeral services are planned for Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Dr. James Ralson officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 PM until service time. Private burial is scheduled at Caddo Mills IOOf Cemetery.
Gladys was born on June 10, 1941 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Charles Mattics and Rachel Iva Billingsley. Gladys was owner and operator of Blackland Childcare Center in Rockwall. Gladys was a member of the Eastern Star in Royse City. Gladys was an avid photographer and won many awards with her photography.
Gladys is survived by daughters Cheri Cogburn and husband Mike of Quinlan, Pamela Simmons and husband Mark of Commerce, grandchildren Jessica White and Trenton white.
Gladys is preceded in death by her parents, brother Charles Mattics and sister Barbara Snow.
Pallbearers will be Mike Cogburn, Mark Simmons, Trenton White, Marshall Jarvis, D. L. Cogburn and Glen Blancett.
