David Wayne Levins, 44, of Greenville died October 14,2008 at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas.A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Coker-Mathaews Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Glen Cook officiating.
Mr. Levins was born September 25, l964 to Larry and Sandra Garner Levins in Dallas. On February 14,l984, he married Kara Wilson in Richardson.
He was an auto mechanic curently working for Auto Doc in Greenville, he was formerly employed by Firestone in Dallas. He was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
His survivors include his wife of Greenville, a son, Rick Levins of Greenville, grandmother Ardith Garner of Minnesota, brother Jeff Damron of Denton, two sisters, Carol Hilliard and Cheryl Sloopes of Justin, aunts, Kathy Huffman and husband Dennis of Kansas and Connie Bergland and husband Gary of Minnesota, and an uncle, Nathan Garner of Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his parents, graandparents, stepmother, Sandra Levins and a son, Kyle Levins in 2002.
