Rickey Jay Maniscalco was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, September 9, 1977 to Rickey John and Linda Sue Maniscalco. He passed away October 3, 2020 from Esophogeal cancer at Baylor Hospital in Carrollton, Texas. He leaves behind his loving son Brayden Rae Shields, 13 of Malakoff, Texas.
Rickey loved outdoors and most of all fishing with Brayden and doing whatever he wanted to do. Rickey worked at Pep Boys and O’Reilly Parts Store. He definitely knew his parts and was extremely tech savy.
He was preceded in death by his parents Rickey John and Linda Sue Maniscalco, his grandparents Johnny and Martha Maniscalco and uncles Mike and Gary Maniscalco.
He leaves to cherish his memories Jennifer and Scott Phillips with whom he lived with during his illness. Jennifer was more a sister than a cousin. Also, Addison and Landon Phillips and other cousins, David, Chelsea, Brittnay, April, Christy, Greg and Kim; step-mom, Bridget Martinez; brothers, Keith, Joel and Eric and sisters, Tiffany and Lisa. Also, Aunt Judy and Uncle Bill-Bo and Shelley Hyde and Uncle Wayne Maniscalco and numerous friends and loved ones.
The family would like to thank Virginia and her staff at Vitas Hospice and The Gift of Sobriety for the love and support they gave Rickey.
