Dorothy Attison, 89 of Longview, passed away on January 22, 2007 at Longview Regional Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, January 26, 2007 at 10 A.M. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Mr. Thomas Hogland. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Attison was born on January 16, 1918 in Lone Oak, Texas to E.B. Sheltman and Maryetta Roberts. She married Harold Attison, Sr. on December 18, 1936 in Lone Oak. She retired from retail in sales and was a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughters and husbands, Kitty and Thomas Hogland of Longview and Mary Lou and Bill Billingsley of Longview, daughter-in-law, Millye Attison of Greenville, grandchild and spouses, Harris and Michelle Billingsley, Jay and Tasha Attison, Tonya Hogland Roberts and Jon, Matt Billingsley, Tammy Hogland Castro-LeDuc and husband Gilberto, great-grandchildren, Brettenie Roberts, Shelby Roberts, Elizabeth Attison, Banoo Hermosilla, Keanu Castro LeDuc, Tommy Castro-LeDuc, Bella DiVerdi, special niece, Judy Sanders.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Harold Attison, Jr., granddaughter, Becky Hogland DeVerdi, great-grandson, Andrew Attison.
Visitation will be fom 7 to 9 P.M. at the funeral home on Thursday, January 25, 2007.
Pallbearers will be Stenson Sanders, Harris Billingsley, Jay Attison, Matt Billingsley and Thomas Hogland.
