Bobby D. Cross, 52, of Greenville, died, Friday, September 5, 2008, at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Graveside services will be Monday, September 8, 2008, at 3:00 PM, at Shady Grove Cemetery with Rev. Dan Williford officiating.
Mr. Cross was born in Dallas, Texas on January 8, 1956, the son of Lonnie Cross and Opal Sanders Cross. On January 8, 1987, he married Debra Lee Dyer in Cleburne, Texas. He was a retired house painter, Navy veteran and attended Mineral Heights Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughters, Crystal Cross and Carly Cross, both of Greenville; sons, Wesley Cross of Denison and Lonnie Cross, serving in the U. S. Army in Iraq; brothers, Gary Ray Cross of Cypress Cove and Tim Cross of Fort Worth; sister, Lavenia Cimiyotti of Colorado; step-brothers, Steven Maples and Curtis Maples, both of Cleburne; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, April 7, 2006 and his parents.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 7, 2008, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM, at the funeral home.
