"My family, our parents, Aunt Mary and Uncle Jimmy and my sister and I spent many summers traveling the United States in tents; then tent trailers and pickup toppers. I’ll always remember the great times we had. Wild weather and a dog fighting a snake in Dalhart, feeding chipmunks and hummingbirds in Red River, New Mexico, breakfast on a Coleman stove on chilly Colorado mornings are just a few of the many amazing experiences we were able to have with Uncle Jimmy. He had a way with people. He was always upbeat, positive and had a wonderful sense of humor. I learned to appreciate country music because he enjoyed it. He was very loved and we will miss him."

"So many great memories we all share. Vacations, home-made ice cream under the peach trees, your quest to capture the perfect picture of a hummingbird in flight and so much more. You are and will always be missed!"
