Sue Remediz, Age 85 of Celeste passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at her residence.  Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, Aug. 23^rd with a rosary preceding the service at 10:00 AM at St. Williams Catholic Church under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Father Paul Weinberger will officiate.  Burial will follow at Caddo Mills IOOF Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 to 8 PM on Friday at the funeral home.

Miss Remediz was born on October 8, 1922 in Celeste, Texas to Thomas and Benita Padilla Remediz.  She was a  patient aide for a nursing home and a caregiver for several years.  She was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Maldonado of Greenville and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Pallbearers will be David Maldonado, Paul Maldonado, Christopher James, James Catravis, Tom Remediz, and Vincente Remediz with Jesse Rodriguez, Modesto Rodriguez, and Joe Rodriguez serving as honorary pallbearers.
