Jackie D. Payne, 85, of Greenville, passed away on May 12, 2019 in Greenville. Funeral services will be 2 P.M., Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Ralson officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be 1 P.M. until service time.
Jackie came into this world on August 9, 1933 in the small community of Coolidge, Texas, where she lived until she graduated. Jackie then attended 2 years of college in Georgetown. She married Thomas Harold Payne in Coolidge, Texas on September 12, 1952. She worked as a receptionist for L-3 Communications and was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Lynne Payne of Greenville; daughter-in-law, Linda Payne of Emory; caregiver, Lonna Rodriguez of Quinlan, who was like a daughter; grandchildren, Chace Harrison and wife, Holiann of Houston, Ashley Arceo and husband, Jose of Plano, Stephan Holder and wife, Kimberly of Quinlan; great-grandchildren, Stephanie Holder Bayse of Colorado Springs, CO, Audrey Arceo of Plano, Bentley Thomas and Ezra Caide of Rowlett and Lexi Lowry of Quinlan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and son, David Russell Payne.
