Betty Jean Minchey, 78, of Greenville, formerly of Nashville,Tenn., passed away August 12, 2008, at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Anderson Funeral Home chapel in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., with interment following at Jenkins Cemetery in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn.
She was a teacher and homemaker and was a member of the Johnson Street Church of Christ in Greenville.
She is survived by her husband, Durell Minchey of Greenville, a son,Dr. David Minchey of Greenville, brothers Bill Jones of Old Hickory, Tenn. and Bobby Jones, Kenneth Jones and Paul Jones all of Red Boiling Springs, Tennn., and sisters Louise Huffines of Nashville, Tenn. and Mattie Clark and Ellen Gulley both of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jean Cassetty.
