James “Jimmy” Chapman, Jr., 77, of Greenville, passed away on February 17, 2019 in Greenville. A Celebration of Life will be held 4 P.M. – 6 P.M., Friday, February 22, 2019 at The Oaks Country Club. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Chapman was born on April 24, 1941 in Greenville, Texas to James Charles Chapman, Sr. and Helen Rorex. He worked as a program manager for Raytheon.
He is survived by his son, Matthew Chapman and wife, Keely; brother, Billy Chapman and wife, Bessie; sister, Susan Scott; grandchildren, Abbey Chapman and Preston Chapman.
He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Michael Chapman.
The family would like to thank the staff at TenderCare for their care of Jimmy the last several months.
