Mrs. Armstrong was born on October 28, 1943 in Jacksonville, Texas to Sherman Wright and Mona Evans Wright. She married Don Armstrong on November 11, 1977 in Thackerville, Oklahoma. Mrs. Armstrong worked for Winford-Smith and was an excellent seamstress.
She is survived by her son Mark Coles and wife Marci of Celeste; Brother Ronnie Wright and wife Carolynn of Leonard; Grandchildren Shaunna Holt of Celeste and Miranda Coles of Celeste and Nathan Horton; Great Grandchildren Kennedy, Parker, Summer and Andrew of Celeste.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, parents, son Dewayne Coles, bother Grady Wright, sisters JoAnn Baker and Shirlene Pruitt.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Celeste ISD in Memory of Katie Armstrong.
