John C. Barrow, III, 82, of Quinlan, passed away on December 10, 2018 in Dallas. Funeral services will be 2 P.M., Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Combs officiating. Burial will be in Quinlan Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 P.M. until service time.
Mr. Barrow was born on October 21, 1936 in Quinlan, Texas to John C. Barrow, Jr. and Gunell Beheler Barrow. He married Joyce Hodges on October 29, 1955 in Terrell, Texas. He worked as a farmer, rancher and business owner. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Royse City and a Master Mason for 50 years.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Barrow; son, Howard Barrow and wife, Karen Jo; daughter-in-law, Sue Davies Barrow; grandchildren, Neil Barrow and wife, Morgan, Jace Barrow and Lindsey Anderson and husband, Craig; one great-grandchild, Hayden Anderson and another great-granddaughter on the way.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son, John Barrow IV and twin grandsons, Jacob and John.
Pallbearers will be Sam Barrow, Frank Barrow, J.W. Barrow, Neil Barrow, Jace Barrow and Craig Anderson.
