Imogene Arnold, 95 of Greenville died Monday, November 12, 2018 at her home. Her funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Friday, November 16, 2018 at Salem-Kinser United Methodist Church under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bill Shaddox and Rev. Mike Langdon will officiate. Interment will follow in Caney Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Arnold was born in Cushing, Texas on March 27, 1923. She was the daughter of George W. Blessing and Bertha L. Davis Blessing. She married Joel Arnold on April 15, 1954 in Carlisle, Texas. She was a Registered Nurse and a long-time member of Salem-Kinser United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Paul E. Arnold and wife Flossie of Greenville, Philip E. Arnold and Portia Pendleton of Austin and David E. Arnold and wife Dena of Greenville; daughter, Susan E. Arnold of Greenville; grandchildren, Lucas Arnold of Seattle, Samuel Arnold and wife Tamara of Seattle, Rachel Arnold of Greenville, Addie Arnold of Austin, Bethany Arnold of Greenville and Avery Arnold of Austin; great-grandchild, Hallie Elizabeth Marks of Greenville; and a host of loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers, Joe Blessing and Herbert Blessing.
Pallbearers will be Lucas Arnold, Samuel Arnold, Rachel Arnold, Addie Arnold, Bethany Arnold and Avery Arnold.
