Gloria Dell Knapp, 82, of Caddo Mills, passed away on September 26, 2018 in Dallas. Funeral services will be 11 A.M., Monday, October 1, 2018 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Ralson officiating. Burial will be at D/FW National Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Knapp was born in Coushatta, Louisiana on August 24, 1936 to J.E. Williams and Callie Cartwright. She married Jerry Odell Knapp on January 11, 1957 in Weatherford, Texas. She was a hostess at Cattlemen’s Steak House in Dallas, an Army wife, mother, and the main key to Jerry’s career. She was a member of Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Knapp; son, Michael Knapp and wife, Lauren; brother, Danny Pounds and wife, Betty; grandchildren, Suzanne Bushard and Diane Ritchie.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
